the IP address of computers where child pornography has been downloaded after they identify that particular computer and IP address then they go to a judge and get a search warrant to search the person’s house and they usually grab all of the computers and cellphones and iPads in that particular house and then if they find more child pornography there then you’re charged with by the district attorney or by the US attorney with possession of child pornography case child pornography charges
so the way that we defend these cases is most of all to try to fight the search warrant and to try to identify some illegal tactics that the police used and finding the IP address or in search in your house and grabbing your computer and phone and iPad so that’s mainly where the fight is and in all and in fighting search warrants we have to become experts at constitutional law and Fourth Amendment rights and Supreme Court decisions so it’s usually a lot of motion writing in order to try to fight
