Pablo Sandoval will not be facing sexual charges, state reports from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department say. Pablo Sandoval, the San Francisco Giants player, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman. Based on the statement from the authorities, they received a report on the 1st of June 2012 by a woman who claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Pablo Sandoval, aged 25 years. The woman who made the allegations is 21 years old.
The incident
Both Pablo Sandoval and the woman, together, checked into the Seascape Resort located in Aptos, where the incident allegedly took place. Pablo Sandoval, contrary to the report by the woman, mentioned that the whole incident was consensual.
Official’s decision
Officials, based on the allegations made by the woman, conducted intense investigation into the matter. The investigation took several weeks to conclude. After the completion of the investigation, officials ascertained that the evidence was not sufficient. Owing to the lack of evidence, Pablo Sandoval could not be arrested for the alleged sexual assault. The officials also stated that Pablo Sandoval was completely cooperative with the police officials through the course of the investigation.

Officials even conducted interviews as part of the investigation. The California Department of Justice processed a few aspects of the investigation. Reports from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department stated that the investigation has finally concluded. The Sheriff’s Department has processed the findings and transferred it to the Santa Cruz County District Attorney’s Office.
